
JON CHRISTOPHER DAVIS
After years of writing songs in Nashville for publishers, Warner Chappell and BMG, Jon Christopher returned home to his Texas roots. While in Nashville, he penned songs for artists like Dolly Parton, Hal Ketchum, Tammy Cochran, Sherrie Austin, Billy Ray Cyrus (Hanna Montana's dad) and Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles. He also recorded his own songs for Warner Brothers, Sony and MCA Records, with the angelic voice of Vince Gill singing back-up.
Jon Christopher has collaborated with some of the most respected names in the music business. SPARKY PEARSON
Prior to becoming a principal with Lone Star Attitude, Inc., Sparky was a principal with Staubach Capital Partners, where he worked directly with corporations, investment firms and individuals on real estate investment strategies. With over $8 billion of transactions completed during his 10 year tenure, he participated in the acquisition, financing and/or disposition of properties, such as Marriott, Walgreen's, Conoco-Phillips, Circuit City Stores, CVS Drugstores, Barnes & Noble, Comp USA, Winn-Dixie, Halliburton, 7-Eleven, Sam's, Wal-Mart, Sports Authority, Kroger, Food Lion, Baptist Hospitals and many others.
A Baylor University undergraduate with a BBA in finance, he completed his MBA in finance at the University of North Texas. Sparky is not only our chief business visionary, he's also VERY instrumental in all aspects of our creative.
MICHAEL CLAY
Michael Clay is a thirty-year veteran of the music, trade show and hospitality industries. His wide ranging experience and expertise in these fields led him to be appointed Director of Entertainment for the Gaylord Texan, the corporate convention capital of Texas. Michael is also the co-founder and Executive Director of the Texas Music Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to keep music education alive and well in the Texas public school system.
The Texas Music Project was signed into House Bill #2582 by the Governor of Texas in July 2003, to show statewide, non-partisan support to restore and strengthen music education in Texas schools. He also co-produced what is now the best-selling compilation of Texas music in history.
